Teen Dad Charged With Murder In Death Of 7-Month-Old Son

Can I just say now, and my apologies to the teen parents who read this, but how irresponsible are you!? I get it if you can support yourself and a baby and live on your own and can happily AND CONFIDENTLY say “I love this person and I am going to have a family with them,” but until then don’t bring an innocent life into your disastrous one. Give them up for adoption. Don’t be selfish. This baby died because it had a temperamental abusive father (whom I’m sure has hit his 16 year old girlfriend as well) and a 16 year old mother who can’t even sign off on her own frikken permission slips for school! Do you REALLY think that baby had any chance in the WORLD to survive?? No… not with stupid parents like that. That was a life that could have been saved…

PONTIAC (WWJ/AP) – An 18-year-old Oakland County man is jailed without bond, accused of killing his 7-month-old son with blows to the head.

Damon Honer, of Pontiac, was arraigned Tuesday on first-degree murder and child abuse charges. Pontiac District Judge Michael Martinez ordered Honer held without bond until a March 10 court hearing. If convicted of the charges, he faces life in prison.

The charges come after an autopsy revealed that Adien Logan sustained multiple fractures to the skull and died as a result of blunt force trauma.

“Crimes against children need to be prosecuted using the full extent of the law,” Sheriff Michael Bouchard said in a statement. “There is no an excuse for abusing a child and I hope that justice is served in memory of this little one whose life was taken away.”

Sheriff’s deputies were called to Royal Oak’s Beaumont Hospital last Thursday to investigate an abuse…
